Bay City is underrated, change my mind
Hey everyone, I'm a remote worker and Average temperature is around 69--F, so the weather is moderate. Household incomes average around $51,898 in Bay City. The unemployment rate is 7.3%, which is concerning. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
Pros:
- Easy commute
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good airport connections
Cons:
- Not very walkable
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Chain restaurants dominate

Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up.
