Hi all, The unemployment rate is 4.1%, which is about average. With a population of 16,642, Berea is a small town. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. Rent is about $1,032/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Would love some local perspective. Appreciate any input. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
