What's it really like living in Bessemer?
Hey everyone, I'm a remote worker and The unemployment rate is 4.4%, which is about average. Homes are going for about $129,800 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Bessemer sits at 272.0 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Thoughts? The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
