OK so We're a young couple and Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Am I overthinking this? Thanks!

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's been a really good experience overall. Internet is better than expected in most areas.

I work in legal here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is decent. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value housing market, you'll love it. The school system is genuinely hit or miss and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (Uptown) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Pittsburgh, be prepared for the culture shock. job market is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from LA about 1 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Active local events and festivals
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are wild, gas is excellent.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. No regrets on my end..
