Is public transit usable in Black Forest?

Been meaning to ask this. Household incomes average around $142,173 in Black Forest. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

I work in healthcare here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is improving. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in The Heights for 15 years. Moved from San Francisco for cost of living. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is tough. We bought in 2016 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.

**Employment:**
manufacturing is strong here. marketing is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are stable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's not perfect but it works for me. The outdoor scene is average - we have ski resorts within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. The Heights schools are decent. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Not very walkable outside downtown. Can feel isolated. And weather can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 8/10. No regrets on my end.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from Seattle about 1 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong sense of community
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Summers can be brutally hot

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are pricey, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Definitely worth checking out..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 10 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are affordable, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Hope this helps!.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 1 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want public transit, then yeah this place is great. But if job market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
