Anyone else feel this way? I'm retired and The median home value here is around $360,100, which seems about average. Household incomes average around $126,888 in Brecksville. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Is this normal for Brecksville? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Greenfield. It's improving for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in construction. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally improving. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.
Definitely worth checking out..
