Best kept secrets of Bridge City, LA

I'm a teacher here and It's a a small town city with about 7,258 people. The median home value here is around $119,800, which is actually reasonable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Appreciate any input. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I work in consulting here and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The job market for my field is pretty good. Definitely worth checking out..
