Why I chose Bright over bigger cities

Hello, Born and raised here. The median home value here is around $246,600, which is actually reasonable. It's a a small town city with about 5,735 people. Poverty rate is 1.4%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Let me know your thoughts. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.
