Couple moving to Brookville from out of state

Been meaning to ask this. I work in energy and Rent is about $917/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $62,569 in Brookville. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Does this match your experience...

How is Brookville for outdoor activities?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
