Couple moving to Brookville from out of state

Been meaning to ask this. I work in energy and Rent is about $917/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $62,569 in Brookville. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Does this match your experience? The food scene here is average. Tons of great Mexican places. it's not perfect but it works for me.

I'm a accountant and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value community vibe, you'll love it. The public transit is genuinely underrated and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (West) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Salt Lake City, be prepared for the culture shock. food scene is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you value safety, you'll love it. The safety is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. My neighborhood (West) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Austin, be prepared for the culture shock. school system is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.
