Curious what people think. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Budd Lake sits at 91.9 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Would love some local perspective. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
