How are the schools in Campbellsville?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but My partner and I are Household incomes average around $49,389 in Campbellsville. Homes are going for about $162,900 on average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Does this match your experience? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's exactly what I was looking for.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a social worker, 39, moved here 4 years ago from Dallas. I've lived in Lakewood and South, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Growing food and restaurant scene
2. Good healthcare facilities
3. Close to major attractions
4. The people are generally tough - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Chain restaurants dominate
2. Dating scene is rough
3. The housing market situation is reasonable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Lakewood: Great for remote workers. surprisingly good vibes, walkable.
- South: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Dallas, everything felt average. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are growing. Gas is reasonable. You can live comfortably on $40K-$70K here.

**Final verdict:**
Good luck with whatever you decide.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
