Anyone work in healthcare in Candelaria comunidad?

Curious what people think. I'm a 30-year-old chef and The unemployment rate is 4.1%, which is about average. Median household income is $38,884, which feels on the lower side for the area. Homes are going for about $141,100 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want outdoor recreation, then yeah this place is great. But if school system matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Riverside for 7 years. Moved from Pittsburgh for weather. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is underrated. We bought in 2018 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.

**Employment:**
finance is strong here. consulting is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are wild for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it was the best decision I ever made. The outdoor scene is decent - we have hiking trails within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Riverside schools are challenging. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Summers can be brutally hot. Dating scene is rough. And public transit can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For families, I'd say this is a 8/10. Hope this helps!. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Came here for family and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The traffic is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Midtown. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in South. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in tech. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Weather-wise, the summers are tough and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.
