Job market in Candelaria comunidad for tech?

Hey folks, With a population of 14,319, Candelaria comunidad is a small town. The unemployment rate is 4.1%, which is about average. Crime rate is something to consider -Candelaria comunidad sits at 2,771.8 per 100K. Household incomes average around $38,884 in Candelaria comunidad. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. Has anyone dealt with this? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

The food scene here is tough. Tons of great BBQ places. it's not perfect but it works for me.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 15 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Lakewood side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

I've been living here for 11 years and I'd say I'm still on the fence after all this time. The nightlife is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Feel free to reach out with questions..

I'm a sales manager and I've found the quality of life is solid. The community is tough and there's always something going on.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value safety, you'll love it. The weather is genuinely decent and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (Lakewood) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from San Diego, be prepared for the culture shock. school system is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
