Cape Coral is underrated, change my mind

Alright, Household incomes average around $76,062 in Cape Coral. With a population of 206K, Cape Coral is a mid-size city. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Is this normal for Cape Coral? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Old Town. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in construction. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.
