Considering Cape Coral vs Los Angeles — help me decide

My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $76,062 in Cape Coral. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Has anyone dealt with this? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.
