Things that make Cape Coral unique

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a college student here and The median home value here is around $339,200, which seems about average. You can expect to pay around $1,751 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider — Cape Coral sits at 116.4 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
