Curious what people think. My partner and I are The unemployment rate is 5.1%, which is about average. Crime rate is something to consider -Carbondale sits at 824.0 per 100K. Rent is about $750/month for a decent place. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I wrong here? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development.
