Carlinville housing prices -when will it stop?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but The unemployment rate is 1.1%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Should I be concerned?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Nashville about 8 years ago. The main reasons were school and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Active local events and festivals
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are stable, gas is excellent.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Hope this helps!.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.
