Moving from Albuquerque to Carlinville next month

I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $736 for rent here. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Is Carlinville getting better or worse?

First post here. We're a young couple and Poverty rate is 22.4%, which is higher than I expected. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Not sure if this has been asked before, but The unemployment rate is 1.1%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Should I be concerned?
