I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Average temperature is around 44--F, so bundle up in winter. Crime rate is something to consider -Carver sits at 48.8 per 100K. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. Should I be concerned?

First post here. My partner and I are Worth the trade-offs? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
