Cost of living reality check -Charleston

I'm originally from Omaha and You can expect to pay around $898 for rent here. The median home value here is around $187,300, which is actually reasonable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I overthinking this? The suburbs are where most families end up.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Nashville it's underrated.

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. traffic used to be much competitive but now it's improving.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The public transit is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..
