Anyone else love living in Chelsea?

Hey folks, I work in tech and The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Chelsea sits at 88.9 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What are your go-to spots? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Used to live on the Springfield side, now on the East side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Charlotte about 15 years ago. The main reasons were work and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are growing, gas is challenging.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
