Is Chelsea walkable?

Curious what people think. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Poverty rate is 16.3%, which is higher than I expected. With a population of 39,460, Chelsea is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 39,460 people. Rent is about $1,859/month for a decent place. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Let me know your thoughts. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Meadowbrook. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in government. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
