Random thought, I grew up here but left for a while. Median household income is $49,193, which feels on the lower side for the area. Homes are going for about $145,900 on average. Poverty rate is 13.3%, which is around average. With a population of 21,958, Chillicothe is a small town. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Looking forward to hearing from you all.
