Been meaning to ask this. I grew up here but left for a while. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $2,208 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I wrong here? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Moved here from Phoenix about 8 years ago. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Still getting used to nightlife but Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've lived in North for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- The food scene scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited shopping options
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good healthcare facilities
- The job market scene is improving
The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for remote workers. Good luck with whatever you decide..
