First post here. I'm a remote worker and It's a a small town city with about 19,139 people. You can expect to pay around $1,968 for rent here. The median home value here is around $459,500, which is pretty steep. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. the quality of life is solid. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The school system scene is average
The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Homeless population growing downtown
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Came here for school and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The walkability is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Lakewood. It's solid for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in engineering. If you're in government you might struggle.
People: Generally challenging. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like sushi.
Good luck with whatever you decide..

The food scene here is decent. Tons of great farm-to-table places. it was the best decision I ever made.
