Hey, Born and raised here. The unemployment rate is 8.1%, which is concerning. Crime rate is something to consider -Clearlake sits at 772.7 per 100K. With a population of 16,604, Clearlake is a small town. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Any advice would be great. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to.
