Best neighborhoods in Cloverleaf

Hi all, Born and raised here. The median home value here is around $164,900, which is actually reasonable. You can expect to pay around $1,090 for rent here. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Am I wrong here? Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is average in most areas.

I've lived in Oak Park for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The walkability scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Nightlife is limited

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for remote workers. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is school system. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's not perfect but it works for me. Compared to Raleigh it's excellent.
