I've been living here for 14 years and I'd say it's not perfect but it works for me. The walkability is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, the quality of life is solid. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from Portland about 6 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- Low crime in most neighborhoods

Cons that are real:
- Limited shopping options
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are manageable, gas is underrated.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I work in legal here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is solid. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
