Best hidden gems in Cold Springs

Hey everyone, Household incomes average around $82,450 in Cold Springs. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from San Diego about 10 years ago. The main reasons were work and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are manageable, gas is improving.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
