Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 13 years and Household incomes average around $50,084 in Coldwater. Median household income is $50,084, which feels on the lower side for the area. Rent is about $912/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Let me know your thoughts. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a project manager who relocated here from Dallas about 1 years ago. The main reasons were work and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of new development happening
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are affordable, gas is better than expected.
Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
