Grocery stores in Columbus -recommendations?
Been meaning to ask this. I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $1,047/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 15.8%, which is higher than I expected. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Thoughts? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
