Relocating to Cortland, NY -pros and cons?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Worth the trade-offs?

I'm a lawyer and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.
