What Cortland does better than anywhere else

Longtime lurker here, I'm a remote worker and Homes are going for about $143,800 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Does this match your experience? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in Downtown area are solid. Kids love it here.

Bought a house here in 2019 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Fairview area are solid. Kids love it here.
