Crestwood Village is underrated, change my mind

Random thought, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and The median home value here is around $95,700, which is actually reasonable. Median household income is $38,396, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a a small town city with about 7,951 people. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to.

Hot take but it's improved dramatically in recent years. I know a lot of people disagree but after 12 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Raleigh it's excellent.
