Moved here from Atlanta about 12 years ago. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Still getting used to community vibe but Definitely worth checking out..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Maple Ridge. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Asian.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Moved here from Dallas about 5 years ago. it's not perfect but it works for me. Still getting used to housing market but Would recommend to anyone considering it..
