What Dalhart does better than anywhere else

So, I'm a college student here and Rent is about $1,079/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,079 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Would love some local perspective.

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in North area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..

Moved here from LA about 14 years ago. it's not perfect but it works for me. Still getting used to outdoor recreation but Happy to answer more specific questions..
