What Dalhart does better than anywhere else

So, I'm a college student here and Rent is about $1,079/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,079 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Would love some local perspective.
