First post here. Poverty rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Am I wrong here? TIA! The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.
I've been here 10 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into running, this place is hit or miss.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
