Hey everyone, I grew up here but left for a while. The unemployment rate is 7.2%, which is concerning. Rent is about $1,030/month for a decent place. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Does this match your experience? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
