What I wish I knew before living in Dumas

OK so Been living here since 2008. With a population of 14,362, Dumas is a small town. You can expect to pay around $1,029 for rent here. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Worth the trade-offs? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

As someone who grew up here, it's improved dramatically in recent years. A lot has changed in the past few years though. community vibe used to be much competitive but now it's pretty good.
