Starting a business in East Northport?
First post here. I'm retired and Rent is about $2,339/month for a decent place. With a population of 19,672, East Northport is a small town. The median home value here is around $601,300, which is pretty steep. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
