Career opportunities in East Palo Alto, CA

Alright, Median household income is $104,832, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $2,209/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -East Palo Alto sits at 485.1 per 100K. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Is this normal for East Palo Alto? TIA! Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

I'm a physical therapist and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.

Used to live on the Meadowbrook side, now on the Pine Hills side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in Lakewood area are average. Kids love it here.
