Cheapest neighborhoods in East Palo Alto?

My partner and I are Rent is about $2,209/month for a decent place. It's a a smaller city city with about 29,143 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Would love some local perspective. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if food scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
