OK so I'm originally from Memphis and It's a a smaller city city with about 29,143 people. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. Crime rate is something to consider -East Palo Alto sits at 485.1 per 100K. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
