Quick question about East Rochester

Longtime lurker here, It's a a small town city with about 6,263 people. Homes are going for about $137,400 on average. Average temperature is around 49--F, so expect cold winters. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 4 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into running, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
