Day-to-day life in Edgewood, MD
Random thought, I'm a remote worker and Crime rate is something to consider -Edgewood sits at 468.4 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 25,170 people. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Am I overthinking this? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development.
