Couple moving to Edgewood from out of state

OK so Born and raised here. Poverty rate is 7.4%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 25,170 people. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Has anyone dealt with this?
