Should I move to Edgewood or stay in Miami?

First post here. We have two kids and It's a a smaller city city with about 25,170 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Edgewood sits at 468.4 per 100K. With a population of 25,170, Edgewood is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $234,700 on average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.
